Adidas used an online anatomy database of 1.2 million foot scans to create the all-new adidas Ultraboost 22 to be the perfect running shoe for women. This updated silhouette returns an additional 4% of energy to women runners, allowing for a strong and steady finish.
If you’ve ever put on an adidas Ultraboost, you know that the sneaker is nothing short of quality. It really is one of the most comfortable shoes on the market. Yet even with its premium design, adidas was able to refine and re-engineer the fit to create a 360-degree improvement for female runners’ feet. The redesigned upper and LEP torsion system combined with the signature BOOST midsole create a divine energy return, 4% more than previous Ultraboost models. This running shoe also features sustainable elements as it was made with a natural Continental rubber outsole and yarn containing 50% Parley Ocean Plastic. Furthermore, the new Primeknit upper has a unique S-curve form that has a narrower heel cup and shallower forefoot profile to better suit the anatomical characteristics of the female foot.
To celebrate the launch of the adidas Ultraboost 22, adidas has created a December challenge for the female running community to kick off New Year’s resolutions and inspire runners to keep going. Participants will be able to access the challenge through the adidas Runtastic app, with sign-ups beginning on December 2nd. The challenge will officially start on December 10th and will go until December 31st. Members of the adidas Creator Club will be rewarded with 220 points if they join the challenge.
The adidas Ultraboost 22 will launch in a “Magic Mauve” on December 2nd, exclusively for the adidas Creators Club. After that, a global release is set for December 9th.
