The adidas Ultra Boost, fittingly, will play a starring role for the brand during the Rio Olympics. A couple of pairs of Ultra Boosts that we’ve seen over the course of the last few months are vindicated today with an official title and product images.
Inspired by Olympic gold, silver and bronze medals, the three-piece collection in predominately black Primeknit fabrication also highlights matching cage construction. Where the pairs differ, though, is noted at the heel counter where one appears in metallic gold, another in metallic silver and the final piece of the puzzle in bronze. What’s more, leather and gradient accents further explore distinction in each release.
