adidas continues to roll out new signatures for Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young. Following the reveal of the Trae 1 in 2021 and the Trae 2 in 2022, 2023 marks the debut of the Trae 3.
Following a first look earlier this summer, Three Stripes has now officially debuted the Trae 3. The upcoming adidas Trae 3 “Core Black” sports an engineered knitted-upper with splattered print, TPU overlays for added support, and Three Stripes branding on the sides. Further elevating the pair are the new sole units that take design cues from the Adilette 22 as well as the pull tabs on the tongue and heels. In terms of colorway, the pair sports a sleek “Core Black” upper with a vibrant, hi-vis semi-translucent outsole. Beyond its functionality, the Trae 3 boasts a sleek and futuristic design that embodies Trae’s personal style, making it suitable for both on-court dominance and off-court style.
On his new signature, Trae Young shared:
“I am incredibly proud to launch my third signature shoe with adidas, and it holds a special significance for me,” Young says. “As I step into this new chapter of my life, becoming a father, it feels like I’m entering a new era, not just as a player but as a man. This shoe represents not only my evolution on the court but also the legacy I hope to leave behind.”
