adidas Basketball has revived the adidas T-Mac 3 a few times over the years since its debut back in 2004 and this upcoming colorway is inspired by the iconic commercial series for the sneaker.

The “Lesson” commercials featured a butterfly effect aesthetic with Birdman’s “What Happened to That Boy” instrumental tracking in the background while Tracy McGrady shows off his offensive repertoire.

The sneaker itself uses a white patent leather base with a black tongue and liner and the medial side features a purple, orange, and yellow gradient panel with the exoskeleton lines printed on instead of embossed with “LESSON” printed all over in the same font from the commercial. adidas branding is debossed on the lateral side and stitched on the tongue in red with TMac’s logo seen on the heel and forefoot.

The adidas T-Mac 3 uses a double lasted midsole to reduce bulkiness and weight and features Bounce cushioning instead of adiprene+ that was seen on the OG. A silver midfoot shank plate is used for rigidity and stability with a white and black outsole finishing off the sneaker.

The adidas T-Mac 3 “Lesson” is set to drop on November 1st via adidas.com and at select retailers for $130. Check out the official photos below and stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for any updates.
