The adidas Superstar is undoubtedly a classic that has had many phases throughout its history. These days the iconic silhouette tends to keep things simple, but it seems that adidas is looking to offer more creative varieties of the Superstar with this new velcro edition.
Just like the classic colorway, this adidas Superstar has an all-white upper, but opts for exposed hook-and-loop cotton. This sneaker comes with a variety of velcro patches in shades of green, blue, and burgundy. The patches allow you to customize the heel tab and adidas Three-Stripes by sticking the patches to the exposed velcro. You can mix and match your colors or go totally off-kilter by placing the patches however you please. We’re not sure if these Superstars are limited edition or here to stay, but if they stick around, we could totally see exclusive velcro patches becoming the new jibbitz.
