The adidas Superstar, like the Air Force 1, is its brand’s trademark sneaker. From its hip-hop and basketball roots to the streets of cities around the world, the Shell Toe has become a pair truly worthy of any and all praise. In 2019, the pair, in collaboration with THAMES MMXX founder Blondey, received five new unique translucent iterations. Returning in 2021, his signature trademark is featured yet again on another translucent Superstar.
Translucent from every angle except the Shell Toe area, grey TPU material constructs the upper. Elsewhere, white leathers appear on the tongue and heel, as well as the Shell Toe and sole. The “Superstar” insignia alongside the Three Stripes branding completes the design.
