Sashiko has been one of the standout patterns used atop sneakers over the past several years. Most recently, adidas featured the traditional Japanese print over an Ultra BOOST 21. It’s only right that they outfit the adidas Superstar with Sashiko, pointing towards a special holiday release line-up.
Clad in the special series of patterns, this iteration of the classic sneaker features Sashiko print atop the canvas build. As expected with the traditional print, white fabric stitches the upper together. Vachetta tan leather materializes the shell-toe to the tongue. Three Stripes branding appears in blue-stitch, forgoing the traditional leather construction.
