Fresh off of the MTV VMAs in which Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj showcased their displeasure for one another at centerstage, literally, the iconic footwear brand that is adidas, has to be satisfied with the event as the Three Stripes brand dominated the headlines.
For starters, Jeremy Scott would provide his artistic influence, decorating the MTV “Moon Man” in an adidas Originals JS Wings fit just for the commemorative award. Also, Kanye West would take home the Vanguard Award, further cementing his legacy. However, adidas has yet another “Vanguard” to appreciate as the adidas Originals Vanguard Collection, will soon be available.
Utilizing the adidas ZX Flux and ZX Trail silhouettes, adidas has teamed up with Extra Butter to release these collaborative iterations. Incorporating a “nautical” inspiration, these models will feature a canvas and nappy sueded upper that will fuse subdued hues throughout.
