To further build upon their lauded collaborative efforts, adidas Originals and the LEGO group have once again joined forces for a special-edition Superstar sneaker made from the label’s signature building blocks. And to coinside with the release, a fully buildable adidas Superstar LEGO brick model will also be available.
The LEGO x adidas Originals Superstar retains its signature white leather base, which is then accented with LEGO’s instantly recognizable bricks forming the Three Stripe branding, shell toe, and heel counter. Rounding out the final details include the gold foil “Superstar” branding on the lateral wall and adidas’s Trefoil logo on the tongue tabs.
On the other hand, the LEGO adidas Originals Superstar kit allows crafters to build either the left or right shoe and comes equipped with the sneaker’s original graphics, shell toe shape, and Three Stripes branding. The model measures over 12 cm high, 27 cm long, and 9 cm wide and comes with a display stand and plaque.
Both the LEGO x adidas Originals Superstar and LEGO adidas Originals Superstar kit arrive on July 1 via select adidas retailers and adidas.com. The sneaker will retail for $140, with the Superstar kit retailing for $80
