As part of its push towards a more sustainable future, adidas has made a pledge to replace all virgin polyester with a recycled equivalent by 2024.

Part of the push includes a wider “Made To Be Remade” collection which now includes the label’s NMD S1 silhouette. Staying true to its past releases, this revamped adidas NMD_S1 “Made To Be Remade” features a material construction that can be fully recycled afterwards and turned into a new product. Mid-foot translucent panels have been removed for all-knit, while down below recycled foam in the midsole peeks through the semi-translucent sole.

In terms of color, this adidas NMD_S1 “Made To Be Remade” boasts a predominantly “Core Black” outfit with contrasting white pops showcased on the branding and heel weave.

Interested readers will be able to purchase the adidas NMD_S1 “Made To Be Remade” when they release on February 2 at 10 am EDT via the adidas CONFIRMED app. The pair will retail for $220. Keep it locked to our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar for updates.
