To celebrate the 5th anniversary of its NMD R1 silhouette, adidas Originals is releasing a new “EQT Yellow” colorway that nods to Pharrell Williams’ very first NMD Hu.
Similar to Pharrell’s collaborative model, the upcoming adidas NMD R1 “EQT Yellow” features a sock-like Primeknit upper, accented with contrasting black hues dressing the EVA midsole plugs, heel cap, and tongue tag. And just like Pharrell’s Hu, this iteration includes embroidered “NMD” text spotlighted on the toebox. Rounding out the final details are speckled laces and a signature Boost midsole.
The adidas NMD R1 Primeknit “EQT Yellow” is currently available at adidas UK while a stateside release via adidas.com is still in the works. The pair will retail for $180.
