Remember not so long ago when the adidas ZX Flux was essentially what the NMD is today? If so, you certainly remember the “Multi” colorway – arguably one of the better sneakers in all of 2014. Well, a new NMD is releasing later this month and it feels eerily similar to the aesthetic surrounding that elder ZX Flux.
This adidas NMD R1 “Color Static” is produced in a multicolored Primeknit and gives us thoughts of that popular design from three years ago. Sure, these two styles are completely different, but ultimately serve the same sartorial purpose. The shoe features multicolored laces as well, while the model’s accents appear in light grey matching the popular EVA pods.
