Although the adidas Nizza was originally produced as a basketball sneaker in the 1980s, much later in its lifespan the simplistic style was adopted in skate culture. Given its durable canvas construction and rubber toe bumper, the shoe was both ideal for court wears and kick flips.
Adidas returns the vintage style for summer 2018 where casual wears often heighten contemporary style. Easily representative of classic sportswear, straightforward shaping and three stripes branding place the Nizza in a space where other adidas gems like Superstar and Canvas hold permanent residence.
The initial installment of the adidas Nizza debuts in four men’s and women’s colorways – Blue, Green, Orange and Pink. All pairs will be available on May 17 at adidas.com/nizza.
