Adidas continues its City Series with the relaunch of the MÜNCHEN sneaker. This release joins a number of other city-inspired sneakers, formerly captured by the size? x adidas Originals Anniversary City Series “10/20” last year.
As an homage to the sportswear brand’s homeland, adidas honors Germany with its attention on Bavaria to revive the MÜNCHEN sneaker that debuted in the 1970s.
Since then, the cross-functional training sneaker has evolved into more of a lifestyle silhouette with its easy-going structure. In a sleek two-toned colorway, the sneaker is dressed in Off-White suede and Tan leather accents on the heel, tongue, and Three-Stripes. The tan accents complement the gum sole, which is complete with a debossed adidas logo near the heel. The archival model is finished with gold foil MÜNCHEN branding and the adidas Trefoil on the heel and tongue.
