As the College Football bowl season approaches, plenty of notable footwear companies are chomping at the bit to unveil their latest, most innovative products for the new year; and to subsequently be worn during the aforementioned bowls. One brand in particular that hasn’t wasted anytime is adidas Football by unveiling their “Cleathead Collection” that features eight iterations of the ever-so popular adidas adizero 5-Star 5.0 x Kevlar.
An interesting iteration available is the “GLO” colorway that features a sublimation of the diamond imagery throughout the upper that is utilized to represent the ideal of someone having the mindset to show flash and style, while remaining cool under pressure. In addition, another style is the ‘Showtime’, which pays homage to the iconography and neighborhoods that make up Los Angeles.
All in all, this slate of cleats is a strong showing from adidas who looks to capture the “creative” side of football footwear.
