The Adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 “Throwback Don” Arrives in November

For the upcoming Fall 2023 season, Adidas Basketball has plans to roll out a slew of Donovan Mitchell’s newest signature, the Adidas D.O.N. Issue 5.

Acting as the fifth signature for the four-time All-Star, the upcoming Adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 “Throwback Don” sports a similar color scheme to the “Blue Sapphire” offering, albeit with black mesh detailing expanding across the forefoot to the rear. Additionally, the model sports the same bootie-like construction that appears within the Harden Vol. 7. Further elevating the pair are the rope laces, mid-foot lockdown cables and a sculpted footbed infused with Lightstrike cushioning technology.

“I am beyond excited to release the D.O.N. Issue 5, where self-expression meets performance, symbolizing a new game-changing chapter with Adidas Basketball,” shared Mitchell in an official press release.

Along with Derrick Rose, Damian Lillard, and Jams Harden, Mitchell is one of the few active Three Stripes athletes who have a signature line with five models.
