Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell continues with his Spider-Man-themed sneaker releases. Following a special edition Venom D.O.N. Issue #2 that was unveiled in May, the basketball player is now set to drop a new Venom edition for his latest adidas signature, the D.O.N. Issue #3.
After teasing it on the court, the adidas D.O.N. Issue 3 “Venom” is now available to purchase in kid’s sizing. Just like the titular symbiote the sneaker is inspired by, the pair sports a mostly black mesh outfit which is then accented with high-gloss glaze details and razor-sharp teeth on the eyestays.
Down below, the exaggerated midsole sports a marbled finish; this design also follows onto the liner and outsoles. Additionally, contrasting hits of red, to represent the character’s tongue, appear on the heel tab, rear, lace loops, and tongue tab branding. Final details include official Venom branding on the midfoot, while DON lettering arrives on the back.
The adidas D.O.N. Issue 3 “Venom” is currently available via select adidas outlets, such as adidas.com.my for $95. Adult sizes are expected to release before 2021. Keep it locked here for updates.
