Chicago doesn’t play around when it comes to St. Patrick’s Day and the Chicago Bulls have been wearing green St. Patrick’s Day jerseys for the holiday since 2006. Derrick Rose was wearing green jerseys for the holiday during his tenure with the Bulls and adidas is bringing back the holiday-themed adidas D Rose 1.5 in which he wore during his MVP season in 2011.

The sneaker features a Sprintskin and Sprintframe upper in green with bright green utilized as accents, most notably on the tongue and on the 3 Stripes on the heel counter. White patent leather breaks up the green on the toebox and the white detached midsole features the more modern Lightstrike cushioning instead of adiprene+ that was originally used on the sneaker. The outsole features the 3 Stripes on the heel with the forefoot outsole using translucent pods in high wear areas of the forefoot.

The adidas D Rose 1.5 “St. Patrick’s Day” is set to drop in March 2022, with a retail price tag that is still unknown. Check out the official photos below and for all the latest sneaker drop dates, peep our Sneaker Release Dates page.
