Cali roots lie deep on the adidas Crazy 1 “Sunshine”. Between Kobe Bryant’s official endorsement with the Lakers and Jason Kopono’s wear with the Bruins, the bright yellow basketball shoe beams with LA nostalgia. To kick off the retro release of this iconic model, adidas has teamed up with Shoe Palace and the LA Leakers for a special launch event.
On December 26th, Shoe Palace at Lakewood Mall will host a launch event for those eager to score the first pair of “Sunshine” Crazy 1s. The LA Leakers will be on hand from noon to 2 PM, playing tracks from their 13 Years Later mixtape, which pays tribute to the West Coast music scene back when the kicks originally released.
