Earlier this week the Palm Beach Post reported that the University of Miami was on the brink of an unprecedented move that would end their 27-year relationship with Nike to switch to adidas. Well it seems as though the Three Stripes brand hasn’t wasted anytime welcoming this iconic university into their respective family as adidas celebrates the Miami partnership with these custom cleats. Commissioned by SolesBySir and Mache275 these custom cleats incorporate the University of Miami motif of green and orange, while employing varying wordmarks that coincides with adidas Football endorsers and former UM alums: Frank Gore and Jimmy Graham. It’s a shame that these two standout players are not involved with postseason action, but maybe they’ll display these during training camp next year or maybe even receive some game action. Nonetheless, if these custom cleats interest you, take a peak at our interactive series, Gridiron Kicks, in which we showcase the best NFL footwear seen throughout the league.
