All-Star Weekend in New Orleans is almost upon us. Engineered to celebrate and propel the festivities, adidas Basketball has unveiled their themed footwear for the upcoming events. The adidas Crazy 1, adidas Crazyquick 2, adidas D Howard 4 and adidas Crazy 8 pack colorways as loud and vibrant as the city itself, set to take the hardwood over the course of the weekend.
A Mardi Gras makeup of the adidas Crazy 1 leads off the lineup, revamped with bright blue and orange shades. Splattered paint styling and tri-tone trim adds emphasis to this aerodynamic design. Look for this pair to appear in the Rising Stars Challenge and All-Star Saturday Night events.
Next up is the adidas Crazy 8. Splattered styling also appears on the upper of this installment, with bright orange carrying the majority of the weight on the upper. Like the Crazy 1, this pair will appear in the Rising Stars Challenge and All-Star Saturday Night events.
The all-new adidas Crazyquick 2 sees the flexible franchise enter its second season. QUICKWEB technology takes to the upper, while the trademark tech makes its mark in the midsole. Look for John Wall, Joakim Noah and Damian Lillard to debut “Vivid Berry” and “Solar Slime” styles in the All-Star Game.
Lastly, the adidas D Howard 4 sees the big signature shoe for the big man in Houston. A trinity of SPRINTWEB, TECHFIT and Crazyquick technology make these lighter and more mobile than your standard center shoe, taking well to Dwight Howard’s agile game. Look for Dwight to debut a “Blast Purple” pair during the All-Star Game.
