adidas adiZero Rose 2 “Windy City” Release Date

As the NBA season inches closer, more and more newly designed basketball silhouettes will begin showing up on shelves. We have just learned that the “Windy City” colorway of the adidas adiZero Rose 2 will hit retailers on December 15, 2011. The adidas adiZero Rose 2 “Windy City” contains a Chicago Bulls-esque color scheme with a mainly red base and black hints. adidas incorporated a subway map and a blue letter “L” on the heel; both attributes pay tribute to one of Chicago’s most popular means of transportation, theh blue L train transit system. The brushed metallic overlay is inspired by the finish on subway cars in the Chi-town transit system. Although the adidas adiZero Rose 2 “Windy City” previously released at select Chicago retailers, it will see a nationwide release on December 15.
