Adidas Introduces the ADI2000 Skate Shoe

There’s no doubt that the early 2000s were an iconic time for sneakers, but it was an especially historic era for skate shoes. It was a time where offbeat colors were king and the bulkier the better. The adidas ADI2000 is a modern iteration of the skate shoe heyday, where silhouettes similar to the Anwar Carrots x DC Lynx reigned supreme.

The adidas ADI2000 is definitely over the top, but absolute perfection nonetheless. The construction on this sneaker has a lot of different overlays that give it a sporty look. The base is made with bright green suede on the toebox and rear, while the quarters opt for mesh. The toecap is protected by the black mudguard that eventually builds into the eyestay. This is where the sneaker gets interesting, as it has three different eyestays, allowing for you to go all out with your shoelaces. The midsole has an extra stacked appearance complete with adidas Originals branding on the medial side. Other notable details include the white adidas Three-Stripes and the adidas Trefoil logo on the tongue, printed in a new font that gives the 2000s-inspired sneaker a modern look.

The adidas ADI2000 is coming soon so be sure to check back with our Sneaker Release Dates page for updates.
