Damn, it [must] feel good to be a Skepta. After working with Nike on one of the most sought-after releases of 2017 (and being instrumental in jumpstarting the Air Max 97 revival), Skepta and the Swoosh got back together for another collab, this time accompanied by a full-blown launch party in the Eiffel Tower town.
With the UK grime legend in attendance, the party highlighted the release of the Nike Air Max 97/BW hybrid, in which
Skepta cites his relationship with the city as one of the key influences on this version of the model. The event was set up with arcades, basketball hoops, bowling lanes and space invaders. In another design touch, the padlock influence that Skepta had previously cited was also replicated in the venue.
