Last time we saw this dynamic duo together was for the release of the A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Chuck Taylor Lugged “Carbon,” which brought technical tooling to a classic silhouette. Now, the team completely switches things up with the A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Aeon Active CX.
This silhouette is one of Converse’s most unique so it’s only right that A-COLD-WALL* brings their futuristic aesthetic to the Aeon Active CX. The silhouette goes laceless as the sneakers have a slip-on structure. Under the creative direction of Samuel Ross, the sneakers have a performance flair seen on the molded comfort sole. It seems that the shoe comes ready in two separate colorways offered in black and grey. The black pair has hints of white and volt, while the grey pair pops with orange and seafoam green highlights. Both pairs feature A-COLD-WALL* coding on the side, with ACW branding on the forefoot. As for Converse, their appearance is almost unrecognizable, as their branding camouflages with upper. The sneakers are finished with extended pull tabs and translucent pieces on the midsole.
