It’s reported that later this summer more iterations of Nike’s Zoom Kobe 1 Protro will land in stores. Among the first rumored to drop in early July is the “MPLS” edition, fashioned after uniforms worn by the Minneapolis Lakers decades ago.
Largely finished in Wolf Grey suede, University Blue contrasts mark the ankle collar, liner and outsole. Although yellow plays a central role in the throwback MPLS jersey, the vibrant shade is almost completely absent from the shoe. Finished in white branding and matching logo representation, the latest rumor pins the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro “MPLS” for a release next Friday, July 6. Nike has not yet confirmed the release date.
