Early last year, Kendrick Lamar and Reebok began their exclusive partnership in which the iconic sneaker brand would release a variety of silhouettes in collaboration with the Compton-bred rapper. The latest model to be released is the Kendrick Lamar x Reebok Classic Leather. Featuring a subdued upper much like his previous Ventilator makeup, this colorway fuses grey throughout the upper with accents of red and blue stamping the heel and the commemorative insoles promoting the “unity” of “colors,” as the Compton area that has been known for its history of gang violence.
All in all, this is a strong showing from Reebok, who looks to capitalize on K. Dot’s recent success with his historic amount of Grammy nominations. Head over to select retailers such as 43einhalb on February 16th.
