adidas Basketball is ushering in a new era of performance footwear with the debut of the BB.01, the first basketball shoe developed through Project: R.A.P. (Radical Athlete Perception). Built around adidas’ next-generation innovation platform, the BB.01 leverages advanced additive manufacturing to create footwear tailored to the demands of elite athletes and the unique movements of the game.

At the core of the BB.01 is a 3D-printed lattice construction that wraps the foot for a secure, adaptive fit while delivering a lightweight feel with every step. The groundbreaking silhouette is set to make its on-court debut during NBA Summer League, where adidas athlete Mikel Brown Jr. will lace up the BB.01 for his first Summer League appearance.

The release marks the first time a Project: R.A.P. product has been made available to the public, with 169 pairs available worldwide: 50 pairs releasing exclusively at the Las Vegas flagship store, 89 pairs on adidas CONFIRMED app, and 30 pairs in Greater China.

The adidas BB.01 “Orange Dusk” is set to release on July 10, 2026, via adidas Las Vegas flagship store in a limited quantity. A global release will take place on July 14, 2026, via adidas Confirmed app for $250.
