New Balance is bringing back its annual “Grey Days” celebration starting May 1, a month-long campaign that highlights the brand’s signature color across a wide range of footwear and apparel. Rooted in the 1980s when grey was first introduced to elevate performance running in urban environments, the shade has since become a defining symbol of New Balance’s commitment to craftsmanship, versatility, and timeless design. This year’s rollout taps both heritage favorites and modern silhouettes, showcasing how the color continues to evolve across sport and lifestyle.

The campaign kicks off with the launch of the Grey Shop, featuring a mix of new and existing styles like the FuelCell Rebel v5, 1080v15, P400, Coco CG2, and skate-ready Numeric models including the Andrew Reynolds 993 and Tiago Lemos 1010. From there, New Balance rolls out a steady stream of releases throughout the month:
- May 1: Grey Shop launch featuring FuelCell Rebel v5, 1080v15, P400, Coco CG2, Numeric Andrew Reynolds 993, Numeric Tiago Lemos 1010, and more
- May 8: ABZORB 2010
- May 15: ABZORB 2000 and ABZORB 5030
- May 22: ABZORB 1890 and Numeric 770

Closing out the month, the ABZORB 1890 and Numeric 770 continue to blend heritage inspiration with modern functionality, reinforcing Grey Days as more than just a color story, but a celebration of New Balance’s past, present, and future across performance, skate, and lifestyle spaces.
The New Balance “Grey Days” is releasing through out the month of May with many different styles to choose from via NewBalance.com and select retailers.
