A new spin on a classic silhouette is hitting the streets as adidas taps Qias Omar and Private Sneakers for the LA adidas Superstar II, releasing Fall 2025.
Reimagining the iconic Superstar through the lens of Los Angeles streetwear, the sneaker features a weathered black upper, cracked leather Three-Stripes, and graffiti-print insoles. Details like a street sign hangtag, star-printed laces, and vintage-inspired tongue tags channel the city’s gritty charm and layered history. Palm tree pins from the adidas archive add a final SoCal stamp.
To celebrate the drop, Private Sneakers will host a “Sneaker Diner” pop-up in Long Beach on September 27, with a menu-style retail setup. Then on October 4, adidas and Shiekh will pop up at Vintage Land (Los Feliz Flea Market) with a full LA block party: live DJs, lowriders, custom stations, and local artists.
The adidas Superstar II “LA” releases on September 27, 2025, exclusively at Private Sneakers for $100, followed by a wider release at select Shiekh locations on October 4, 2025.
