How the Jordan 12 Bloodline Was Born

The Bloodline series made its debut in 2019 with the Air Jordan 1, introducing a fresh take on the classic Chicago Bulls black and red color story. Rather than pulling directly from a game worn colorway, the concept reimagined Jordan Brand’s most iconic palette in a way that felt both familiar and new.

The Air Jordan 12 was originally set to receive the Bloodline treatment in 2025 before Jordan Brand shifted course and released the Flu Game colorway instead. Now the Bloodline 12 Jordans are finally here, arriving in Summer 2026 and giving fans the black and red Jordan 12 they have been waiting on for over a year.

What to Expect

The Bloodline 12s arrive in a primarily blacked out build with the Air Jordan 12‘s signature leather upper and textured mudguard forming the base. Metallic red hits land on the eyelets and the Jumpman branded TPU overlay on the midfoot, giving the shoe just enough contrast to let the details breathe. Additional red branding is expected on the heel pull tab, rounding out the colorway across the full silhouette.
