Each spring, the sneaker community anticipates the arrival of Air Max Day and April 20th. Around this time, Nike drops their newest Air Max silhouette to celebrate the anniversary of the Air Max 1. In addition to the sneakerhead holiday, the footwear giant releases 4/20-inspired renditions. This year, the Swoosh unveils the Air Max 1 NH “Treeline” reminiscent of the Nike SB Dunk High”Skunk” from 2010.
The pair comes in a Treeline, Light Bordeaux, and Dark Driftwood colorway mimicking its Dunk counterpart. Aside from the shared resemblance, the offering arrives in a mix of leather, mesh, and hairy suede overlays. Other details include Nike branding on the tongue, heels, and sides, followed by a white and navy sole unit. Concluding the 4/20 friendly pair are insoles covered in graphics paired with Nike branding.
