Back in 2014, Jordan Brand dropped the Air Jordan 6 “Championship Pack” that included the “Cigar” and “Champagne” colorways. These collector sneakers were made to celebrate the 23rd Anniversary of Michael Jordan’s first NBA title. A sample of the Air Jordan 6 “Alternate Cigar” has been making its way around the internet, with sneakerheads rejoicing at the close-up of the different details.
Compared to the released model, this Air Jordan 6 is a bit richer in texture and material. The upper looks as though it fell straight off a Cuban cigar. You’ll also notice that this version has a white heel with an aged outsole that wraps around the side, just above the window. The outsole also has a speckled finish, which almost gives the appearance of ashes from a cigar.
