1. Nike Air Yeezy
Kanye has been waiting until he gets his money right…literally. Fresh off of the heels of debuting his upcoming Pastelle clothing line and Louis Vuitton sneakers, the Nike Air Yeezy will finally release in March 2009. We have been teased by photos of Kanye and his entourage wearing the Nike Air Yeezy’s throughout 2008. The Yeezy will either be a hot-seller or a heartbreak!
Other 2009 Releases to look for:
1. Nike Foamposite “Eggplant” – This is arguably the best colorway seen on the Foamposite, and the anticipation for these is ridiculous. The Nike Flightposite “Eggplant” held us over for awhile, but many people are looking over their shoulder for this release.
2. Air Jordan 2009 – It will be interesting to see where Jordan Brand goes with this one. Many of you have written JB off upon seeing photos of these. Will it be great or garbage?
3. Air Jordan 1 Retro Mid “Infrared” – The “Infrared” application on the Air Jordan Retro 1 gives it an eye-catching look, to say the least. We saw the removable strap Air Jordan 1 Retro in 2008. Will JB just leave the Air Jordan 1 alone for awhile?
4. Nike Air Huarache x Nike Air Force 1 – As part of Nike ACG???s 20th anniversary releases, this Nike Air Force 1 ???Air Huarache??? will be debut in the summer of 2009. Just the idea of combining two classic Nike sneakers, makes this a sneaker to look out for.
5. Air Jordan 1 Retro Mid “Hare” – While many people were happy to see the Air Jordan 7 “Hare” return in 2008, it remains to be seen how sneaker heads will react to this “Hare” release. This time around, they even included a “Hare” Jordan for the ladies (see Lola Bunny).
