You don’t have to live deep in the heart of Texas to appreciate a pair of low-top hoop shoes during the summer. While the warmer weather allows for rotation diversification,such as runners, aqua socks, and (gasp) sandals, some of us just love our basketball kicks. Unfortunately, for comfort, that added height doesn’t always take well to added heat. In celebration of this weekend’s Air Jordan 11 Low release and the sunny season, we call for eight more low top basketball sneakers we’d like to see back.

While The Worm never laced, or rather zipped, up the signature of his nickname sake, this oddity from the already obscure Ndestrukt line would be a welcome retro.
