Phil Jackson Blames Metta World Peace’s Shoes for Plantar Fasciitis
Phil Jackson has been known to wear his player’s shoes every once in a while, but you will never see him in World Peace’s PEAK sneakers. Ever.
After World Peace tweeted about having plantar fasciitis in both his feet during the 2009-2010 NBA season, Jackson responded by suggesting that his foot problems stem from his shoes. “I called his shoes concrete boots for about the last month,” Jackson said in reference of World Peace’s Peak basketball sneakers. “Those shoes look like they’re made for the Hudson River.”
Huh? Um, sure.
