Sharing a storied bond, the worlds of music and sneakers continue to grow and expand. With new songs and kicks dropping at rapid paces, music and sneaker enthusiasts certainly have their fare share of options to choose from. Delving even deeper into both of the previously mentioned categories, Nice Kicks has teamed up with some of the industry’s top DJs to not only find out what five tracks they are feeling the most but also inquire about their five favorite kicks as well.

Serving as the special guest for the inaugural installment for the 5 Tracks & 5 Kicks column, DJ Base was raised to be one of the most prolific musical figures in the Middle East. Upon moving to LA in 2012, Base worked under DJ Skee for three years serving as the DJ on his world famous HipHopNation weekly show. One of the founders of the new Radio mogul Dash Radio, Base is currently in charge of all the programming for Dash Radio while continuing to be one of the top influencers on the West Coast.
