Long Beach native and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Shabazz Muhammad has been rocking with adidas for quite some time now. Dating all the way back to high school, Muhammad played for the adidas-sponsored Dream Vision AAU team before signing a letter of intent with the Three Stripes-branded UCLA Bruins out of high school. The southpaw naturally signed with adidas when he entered the NBA and, along with Ricky Rubio and Andrew Wiggins, gives adidas prominent branding in The North Star State. We recently caught up with Muhammad to discuss the adidas sneakers in his current rotation.

Adidas Stan Smith

Muhammad: The Stan Smith is just a classic shoe. In any colorway, it completes every outfit, and it fits in with any occasion. You can rock the Stan Smith to the grocery store with sweats, or dress it up and go to a formal event. It’s a very clean aesthetic.
