In 2010, we witnessed a ton of superb sneaker releases from all of the brands. Highlights included the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 11s, the “Infrared” Air Jordan 6 Pack, the Star Wars x adidas Originals Collection, the Under Armour Black Ice, the Reebok Zig Tech and the limitless amount of New Balance collabs and Converse First String releases.
2011 will be just as big, if not bigger on the sneaker front. Dating back to October, we have seen many previews of what’s to come next year such as the “Dark Neon Royal” Nike Air Foamposite One, the “Cement” Air Jordan 3s and the Swizz Beatz x Reebok joint effort, just to name a few. The Air Jordan 3 “Cement Grey” has retroed twice (1994, 2003) since its original release in 1988; yet, there is always a new excitement when this shoe hits the shelves. This will be the first Air Jordan Retro release of the new year! Who else is impatiently anticipating this sneaker?
