Car Crashes Into Chicago Sneaker Store, $100K Worth of Merch Stolen

The Flee Club was burglarized early Wednesday morning as an SUV crashed into the resell store’s entrance with four to five people stealing over $100K in sneakers, apparel and more, according to WGN TV.

The Flee Club has been targeted several times throughout the years but the recent smash-and-grab is perhaps the worst of them all for the business.

“Just devastation, my heart is broke,” Kelly told WGN TV. “You put so much time and money into your store, someone just comes in overnight and takes your dream away.”

The smash-and-grab incident was the second one in Chicago this week as The Endless Supply, another resale shop, was burglarized of several items, including a $6,000 Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High “Chicago” from Virgil Abloh’s original The Ten collection.

The investigations for both crimes are ongoing.
