Ewing Athletics looks to capitalize on their comeback momentum with the latest release of the Ewing Focus. After dropping two colorways earlier this month, the shoe is returning with nearly inverted color schemes. The Ewing Focus dons white/black-red and black/orange-blue colors for its latest release. Patrick Ewing played the majority of his career with the New York Knicks, who had a fierce rivalry with the Chicago Bulls. Both teams are represented with the latest release of the second Ewing model to make its return. Ewing Focus White/Black-Red & Playoff Release Date is set for Saturday, August 3. You’ve got them on your computer wallpaper, and now you’ll have a chance to lace the Ewing Focus up on your feet. After over twenty years, two colorways of Patrick Ewing’s own shoe are making a comeback. The Focus features the Ewing name on the tongue, and the model name on the ankle strap. The color blocking on both the original Knicks blue/orange and the black/red are sure to make the hall of famer’s signature stand out. Both colorways of this vintage model will retro release at select retailers tomorrow, July 6, including Nice Kicks. Are you focusing on a cop, or letting them drop?

After the success of the Ewing 33 Hi Retro, it was only a matter of time before we started to see more from the resurgent brand. Next in line is the Ewing Retro Focus. The Focus sports an aesthetic fresh out of early ’90s. The sky hi, bulky build features contrasting perforated material along the midpanels on the medial and lateral sides. As with all Ewing models, the ever-present strap is present on this model with “FOCUS” emblazoned in bold white letters. Vivid colors traces the eyelets, and share space with the main color on the midsole. The white/blue-orange colorway is a nod to Patrick Ewing’s formidable years with the New York Knicks. The first drop will also include a black/red-grey colorway. There has been a Ewing Focus Retro U.S. release update , and the shoes will now drop on July 6. They will still release in Canada and Europe on June 29. Are these on your list to cop?

After the successful return of the Ewing 33 Hi, the Ewing Focus is set to make a comeback. This colorway places white leather on the majority of the upper, and uses red neoprene on the quarter panels and ankle as highlights. The main attraction is again a midfoot strap, but “EWING” is emblazoned on the Focus strap, as opposed to “33”. Both “EWING” and “33” is stitched on the heel, and red, grey, black and white all share space on the uniquely designed midsole. There has not been a concrete release date set, but stay tuned to Nice Kicks for all the latest information.
