Nike Air Trainer III

The Nike Air Trainer III first released in 1988 as the Nike Air Trainer SC (not to be confused with the retro Air Trainer SC which was technically the Air Trainer SC III when first released). In a confusing mixup, the Air Trainer III took on the name when it was first retroed and Nike has rolled with it ever since. The Nike Air Trainer III was sported by Bo Jackson in a series of Nike ads and hit the silver screen on the feet of Spike Lee when he played Mookie in the film Do The Right Thing. There have been a number of colorways of the Nike Air Trainer III, but the most noteworthy colorway is the “Medicine Ball” Nike Air Trainer III.
