Nike Foamposite technology consists of using a synthetic molded upper. The Nike Air Foamposite One, Nike Total Air Foamposite Max, Nike Air Foamposite Pro, and Nike Air 1/2 Cent use Nike Foamposite technology along with many other shoes. The Nike Air Foamposite One was the first shoe to use Nike Foamposite technology that later spawned a lighter weight evolution call Nike Flightposite.
The Foamposites were the most expensive Nike basketball shoes when they debuted in 1997 with a price tag of $180. Back then the shoes were a signature shoe for Penny Hardaway but were worn also by Mike Bibby while he played at Arizona. Though more than a decade since the Nike Foamposites first release, the Foamposites are still a retro hit.
