Over the weekend, it came to my attention via my friend Sean Williams of OSD that Josh Slovin, aka Slovadon, has passed away.
I never got the chance to meet Josh, but having emailed with him about his work over my past five years at Nice Kicks it couldn’t be clearer that the man had an amazing passion for kick culture and the people in it. Well liked and well connected, he was always stoked to share his latest Bespoke Air Force 1 creation (all of which are still absolutely bonkers to this day) and he was always down to put on or connect one of his friends.
If you’re not familiar with Slovadon, the CowPunchersCrew member crafted a Bespoke Air Force 1 collection that is completely on another level, pulling inspiration from pop culture, reimagining rare releases, and transforming luxury staples into rich retros.
