Kobe Bryant MVP Nike Big Nike Hyperstrike
 Close sources to us had told us that they had seen a shoe that looked like a Dunk crossed with a Terminator coming out in 2009, and immediately our thoughts (and hopes) were that they were looking at samples of a former Throwback Thursday, the Nike Big Nike. Sure enough with this special edition Kobe Bryant MVP Nike Big Nike Hyperstrike, the deal is sealed.
This special edition of the Nike Big Nike is yet another product that honors Kobe’s first MVP award. The shoe features micro-perforated leather on the tongue, toe box, and ankle color of the shoes which is something that we have not seen from Nike in a very long time. The shoe comes in jet black with purple and metallic gold accents along with a “big” MVP logo on the back of the sneaker. Sole Collector is saying that there are less than 100 pairs given to just friends and family and that this special pair will NOT release to the public. Any guesses at who made the VIP list? Odds are probably in favor for Laker-loving Jack Nicholson, but I don’t think any pairs will be made in size 23 for a former teammate… |

TOO BAD we (The Public) can’t pick up a pair. I’m from L.A. whatr better way to honor a hometown hero than rockin these, they are really dope.

I’m a Celtics fan and I appreciate this shoe. Very nice Nike indeed. I’m sure more colorways will eventually make it’s way to the mainstream.

Words can’t describe how happy I am to see the Nike Big Nike come back. Varsity colors are going to be a major look in Summer of 2009 so I can only expect to see Nike bring these out in team colors.
