Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals

Cory Kennedy x Kanye West x Jeremy ScottYou are probably looking at that picture to the left thinking… what the?!?!?

Wait until you see the shoes! Everybody knows Kanye has the Air Yeezy in the works with Nike. What about his other fashionista friends? Well, it’s not Cory Kennedy (left), but the eclectic American punk rock designer Jeremy Scott (right), that is now working on his upcoming Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals line for 2009.

All I can say is that, Jeremy Scott continues his design habits with an eclectic, and unique set of sneakers. Adidas Artillery Highs are amongst the variety of shoes, all of which have some incredibly unique features, from the use of snakeskin, to the highest shoe tongue I have ever seen! Yes even higher than Kanye’s Air Yeezy tongues! Check the photos after the jump, let us know what you think. I don’t know if even Kanye’s arrogant approach to fashion would rock these. What do you think? Can we say The Good, The Bad, The Fugly?

  17. @ BK-Big-Jay

I feel you…it’s funny how being in NY or (insert large fashion mecca here) you can have a different perspective on fashion that might seem ‘too far out’ to someone from a different demographic. I moved to Atlanta (from NY) two years ago and people were all amazed @ my gold Air Max 97’s - pointing @ my feet like “where’d you git gold shoooooes?”…lol

    Comment by nikeindabutt — October 6, 2008 @ 3:41 pm

  18. man, i dont know why you guys are flipping out about every single shoe that isnt a dunk or a j, all you do is agree with the person above you. those black and whites ones are dope, adi logo on such a tongue? fresh. and i wouldn’t personally rock any of the other ones but that doesnt make them ugly. just not my cup o tea. the black and green artilleries for one, look nice

  27. THIS is why addidas is fallin off. THIS here is living proof that why nike’s worst year is a helluva lot better than addidas’ crap now. WINGS? But hey, I betcha if some rapper was wearing these they would sell out in the first day. And all the hypebeasts would think they are just so fly. (no pun intended!)

along with the metro attitudes with the super high tongues.
    others aren’t for me.

  37. nikeindabutt i feel you on that. our fashion is very different from other peoples. i remember going to school in jersey a while ago. it was nothing but jersey heads and dudes from Pennsylvania. i stood out like a black sheep. needless to say i got a lot of grief from dudes over there for my taste in clothing. they like wearing these shorts that are so long they reach your ankles. ugh. you can tell who was from NY and who wasn’t real easy. i hear people in LA have a fashion sense similar to ours.

    Comment by BK-Big-Jay — October 6, 2008 @ 10:23 pm

  38. not everyone from new jersey is like that, being from central new jersey myself i love ny and the creativity, and these shoes are designed by a punk rock dude and it shows. punk rockers have always been trendsetters in their own right. its all about the creativity.

addidas is not falling off at all, if they were i dont think they would have the funds to come out with little side projects like this. i also can appreciate that some people dont appreciate this kind of shoe, thats how you know it is art.

  41. these shoes are fly. jeremy doesn’t cater to adidas’s main demographic, and that’s why this collaboration is so damn brilliant. look up jeremy’s other stuff online, and you’ll find an impressive portfolio of work. consider you guys lucky for being able to preview what’s to come. take note and spread the love!

I STAY IN BUFFALO, AND A ALOT OF PPL UP HERE DRESS WIT THAT ORIGINAL SWAGG. I LOVE THE ATTENTION WHEN PPL TRY TO CLOWN, BUT THEY HAVE ON DICKIES, AND FUSIONS??? LOL,, AND I HAVE ON GLOBES, A PAIR OF LEVIS, A LACOSTE POLO, COACH WALLET, AND A LOUIS VUITTON BOOK BAG…..DO THE MATH….AND BY THE WAY I WOULD KILL THOSE KICKS!!!

    P.S. I love levis!

    Comment by nikeindabutt — October 7, 2008 @ 10:05 am

  45. im from new york as well so i understand this type of fashion. its definintly the “soho” look in full effect, but hypebeasts made that look kind of generic now. so im like a few of them but just not for me anymore. The wings are so innovative i love the concept.
