DQM x Nike Sportswear Dunks on CSN
Complex Shopping Network is back with another feature on some upcoming footwear. This time the duo update us on the Dave’s Quality Meat Dunks that are schedule for release later this month. We gave you a little preview yesterday, but now we have the full details on the release.
The Dunks are the first shop collaboration for Nike Sportswear. The shoes were made to help the celebration of DQM’s fifth anniversary. The shoes will release at the newly constructed DQM in three colors for $180 on September 20th.

New Nike House of Hoops Commercial
Nike hasn’t been doing a lot of commercials like they used to for it’s recent shoes, this commercial takes place on a pier possibly hinting at the next location of House of Hoops. It features Nike ballers and recent releases that are not retros from the back catalogs of Nike Basketballs past. Hopefully we see more of this in the future and Wieden and Kennedy* Nitro USA can come up with more creative ideas.

 The only Online sneaker show in the world OSD has brought the sneaker world to the forefront of media. With the creative minds of Sean “Paperchasr” Williams and Dee “Sole Proprietor” Wells being the force behind these channels filled content.The Channels went live last night on the website called Mogulus.com so be sure to check them out.  One of the many shoes that Nike has introduced for this summer is the Nike Air Rejuven8. The shoe is lightweight, breathable, comfortable, and environmentally friendly as well. For those who have been watching ESPN lately, Lebron James has been wearing the Air Rejuven8 while nursing his injured ankle before the Olympic Games next month.

Jordan Heads Documentary Wants You!
 Calvan Fowler and crew have been hard at work on Jordan Heads, a documentary about MJ and the shoes, for a couple of years, but he just gave me the heads up that they are just about to wrap up filming. For the “last shot” of the film, Calvin wants to capture Jordan heads outside of the United Center.
One month from today, August 23rd, heads are invited to gather outside of the United Center by the Jordan statue. Everyone is asked to bring their favorite pair to hold up for the shot. Besides being a part of this movie, hopes are to also break a world record and have this moment documented in the Guinness Book of World Records. Please be prompt at 10AM the day of the shoot as a large crowd is expected. A full flyer is posted after the jump complete with hotel information for heads like myself who will be traveling from out of state. |
