Actress, artist and fitness muse, Teyana Taylor, today announces a long-term partnership with Reebok in the official capacity of brand ambassador.
Taylor, who’s already worked with the brand in the past, also debuts a new “Free Your Style” campaign centered around the Reebok Freestyle, more commonly known as the 5411’s. The shoe, originally released back in 1982, emerges in three OG colorways ahead of a big re-emergence in 2017.
“Reebok has always been a brand that’s been very special to my heart ever since I was young,” said Taylor. “Freestyles were all I wanted to wear growing up so it feels like everything’s come full circle with this partnership. The 5411’s really opened the door for creativity in women’s fashion, it gave permission for sneakers to be feminine. I’m honored to be the face of the Freestyle campaign for everything it stood for yesterday and what it still represents today.”
Much is to be expected from this new partnership between Taylor and Reebok. In the immediate future, Taylor will support the re-release of the Freestyle Hi, currently available at Reebok.com and select retailers nationwide.
