#1 – Nike Air Force 1 “Playstation”
When pictures of this Nike Air Force 1 “Playstation” surfaced, many people were extremely ecstatic (see Kobe). The Playstation inspirations are obviously visible in the form of the gradient design on the heel. We picked this sneaker as our number 1 choice not only because the inspirations are so exact,?? but the design is on a classic sneaker. Unlike some of the other theme sneakers in this post, the Nike Air Force 1 is considered a classic.
UnFab Five:
1. XBox x Heely – It is a nice concept, but do we really want to see an XBox moving at a speed of 20mph through the shopping centers?
2.?? 2K Sports Jordan CP3 – This sneaker almost made the list, however, the only visible inspiration is the NBA 2K Sports logo on the tongue. Not enough.
3. Nike Air Force 2 “Nintendo Wii” – This is similar to the 2K Sports Jordan CP3. Where are the visible inspirations besides the Nintendo Wii power button on the tongue?
4. Reebok Madden 20th Anniversary – The John Madden theme is cool, but the upper featured way too many designs. Reebok barely had enough room to fit Madden’s face on the shoe.
5. Nike Hyperdunk Tony Parker EA Sports – Great shoe. Nice theme. But where is the theme visible at? Oh yeah, on the BOTTOM of the sneaker.?? This shoe had so much wasted potential.
