Nike dropped the “Air Max” from the official name of the Nike LeBron 8, but the full length 360 Max Air is clearly visible and even more comfortable than its?predecessor.
One of the most?noticeable?features to the colorblocking of this pair is the vibrant red tongue – a first for the LeBron series. ?While covered by much of the laces, the red peeks through just enough and balances the color out of the shoe tying to the all red Max Air and outsole.
The medial side of the Nike LeBron 8 is quite different from the outside face of the shoe. ?One interesting branding feature is the embossed Nike swoosh on the toe. ?Other details include perforations that give a little look to the red interior.
Samples of the LeBron 8 that floated around the web featured the LJ23 logo but with the move to Miami and jersey number change, the logo was swapped with LeBron’s signature and stamp of approval of the LeBron 8.
One of the most surprising aspects of the Nike LeBron 8 is how lightweight the shoe is. ?Cut aways of rubber on the outsole help reduce weight and provide spaces for additional branding including the Lion face logo in the middle of the sole and an 8/infinity logo directly?underneath?the heel.
